21 December

I should be getting excited about Christmas but all that is in my mind are my tests starting January 6th. I guess all cancer survivors probably suffer the same insecurities when facing the annual tests to see if its reared its ugly little head somewhere else.

On the home front, I feel great and Im trying to put in a lot of effort into our gardens before winter comes. Today we cut most of the lawns, but over the Christmas break we're putting in gardens. A little tropical spot outside the back porch, and hope to be building some avairies in the back yard.
We need the avairies not only to house some of our birds but Im hoping they will help shelter the yard from the horrendous winds we suffer here.

The day after Christmas day we are heading out berry picking, not sure what type of berries yet, or how much but it will be nice to have fresh berries to cook for jam, pies etc...we really do need another freezer.

Decorating for Christmas is over, its ok, not what i wanted but we were away at Disneyland all of November, so I really did run short on time. I also have been suffering vertigo, which has really slowed me down a lot. I see the ENT specialist tomorrow so I hope he can find some answers for me.

So this is Christmas

Well, its been a whirlwind year but somehow we've managed to end up in the right place. Our home is decorated for Christmas, of course with the help of my dd Mallory. Its looks great, I'm hoping it will get better each year.

Talking of next year, I desperately want to decorate the house and work on the gardens. I want to be busy, stick to my health regime and get organized so I can spend more time with Mal and Peter (love of my life) and have time for me, for what I want to do.
